Situated in the Yumthang Valley in the stunning state of Sikkim, the Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary is a haven for nature enthusiasts and adventure-seekers alike. Encompassing an area of 43 square kilometres, the sanctuary ranges in altitude from 3048 to 4575 meters above sea level. It is known for its diverse flora, particularly the Rhododendron, making it a popular trekking destination in India. In addition to the captivating Rhododendrons, the sanctuary features the flowing Yumthang River, alpine meadows, and a rich variety of bird species that further enhance its appeal. Embarking on a trek to the Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary offers a chance to immerse oneself in the splendour of wildlife and nature. The trek commences from Lachung Village in North Sikkim and includes passing by waterfalls, cardamom plantations, tropical forests, and the scenic Yumthang River. Trekkers also have the opportunity to catch breathtaking views of the majestic Mt. Kanchenjunga and visit the renowned hill station of Darjeeling.

The Sikkim Rhododendron Tour is an incredibly thrilling journey, offering opportunities for hiking and a brief trek through some of the most stunning Rhododendron areas in Sikkim. During the spring season, from late April to mid-May, Sikkim's forests are filled with vibrant Rhododendron blooms in both low- and high-altitude regions. Barsey (Varsey) stands as a Wildlife Sanctuary located in West Sikkim, teeming with a wide variety of flora and fauna, including the elusive Red Panda. Renowned for its Rhododendrons, the area is also a habitat for numerous species of Rhododendron, Primula, Magnolia, Oaks, and Pine.

Pick up from Bhudrapur airport/Badogra/NJP Station. Meet the guide at the airport. Meet the guide at the airport and drive to Gangtok. (126 km/5 hrs). Overnight hotel.
A day trip to Tsongoo Lake, Babamandir, and Nathula Pass offers a high-altitude adventure in Sikkim. Tsongoo Lake, a sacred alpine lake at 12400 feet, is home to rainbow trout, but boating and lake entry are prohibited. Babamandir, higher up, houses a temple for Baba Harbajan, a revered soldier. Nathula Pass, a gateway to Tibet, was part of the ancient silk route to Lhasa. Visitors are welcome on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Early morning head for Gurudogmar Lake at 17100 feet. Arrive at Thangu after a drive of 29 kms. Thangu is an extremely small village with couple of houses. Thangu is at 13550 feet. Further drive of 3 kms

Drive to Darjeeling is within a Himalayan belt through deep forest and tea gardens. As we approach Darjeeling, in a clear weather mount Kanchendzonga the third highest peak in the world is seen majestical
Early morning visit Tiger Hill for sunrise view later also visit Ghoom Monastery, halt at Batasia loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering institute, zoo , evening at leisure to roam around the town.
