Dhulikhel Namobuddha Tour, Itinerary

Arrive Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Welcome & assistance on arrival at Airport. Transfer to Hotel. Hotel check in. Over night stay at Hotel.
After breakfast, we'll drive to Changu Narayan (1,500m), the oldest temple in Kathmandu Valley. Then, we'll trek to Nagarkot (2,175m) through a pine forest with splendid valley and mountain views. Nagarkot offers panoramic landscapes, mountain views, including Mt. Everest, and stunning sunrise and sunset views. We will stay overnight at Nagarkot.
We'll start with a gentle walk through a pine forest, passing through paddy fields and small villages before reaching Dhulikhel. This ancient town offers a traditional atmosphere and spectacular views of the Himalayan range. We can explore the old part of town with its Nepalese buildings and interesting temples. Dhulikhel also serves as a base for day trips to the Tibet border or Tatopani, known for its hot sulfur springs. We'll stay overnight in Dhulikhel.
After breakfast in Dhulikhel, we will walk to Namo Buddha (1,982m) and explore the ancient stone slab and stupa. Then we'll walk three hours to reach the picturesque Balthali village (1,730m) for an overnight stay.
Today, you have a free day to explore Balthali Village. Visit the traditional Tamang village of Dada Gaun and enjoy views of the Himalayas from Pada Gaun. Take a walk along the Karnali River and Ladku River before returning to the resort for the night.
Today, we'll walk to Panauti, a thriving Newari village shaped like a triangle with serpent idols at each corner to prevent floods. The village is home to the oldest surviving structure in Nepal, the three-tiered Indreshwor Mahadev, dating back to 1294 AD. We'll also visit the ‘Khware’ shrine area at the confluence and admire the temples and old houses along the way. After the six-hour walk, we'll return to Kathmandu for an overnight stay.
