Brumkhangse Peak Climbing is located in North Sikkim and has been available for expeditions since 2005. It is a moderately challenging trek that is separate from the other major peaks of Sikkim. The trek passes through the beautiful Lachung Valley and offers views of majestic peaks such as Eagle Peak, Pheling Peak, and more. Trekkers can immerse themselves in the beauty of nature and enjoy the breathtaking panorama. The unspoiled beauty of the trail can captivate travellers in no time.

This 12-night and 13-day itinerary takes travellers to Brumkhangse Peak, along with other mesmerizing regions such as Lachung and Gangtok. This tour is ideal for those who want to invigorate their senses while enjoying stunning landscapes.

Brungkhangtse Peak Climbing, Itinerary

On arrival at Bagdogra or Bhadrapur airport, meet our representative and then drive towards Gangtok. On arrival in Gangtok, check in at your already booked hotel. The evening is free for leisure. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.
The day is free for to rest or enjoy sightseeing of Gangtok. One can also do shopping during the leisure time. The day is also free to clear all final permit procedure and introduce you with the expedition staff; they will assist you and also go with you during the trip.
Gangtok: easy excursion to Tsomgo Lake situated at the Indo-China border at an altitude of 12,400ft (option to have an experience of Yak ride here). Enjoy the serene beauty of the lake and return back to Gangtok. Stay O/N.
In the morning after breakfast, we will proceed from Gangtok to Lachung. En-route, we will visit the Tashi view point, Kabi Longtsok, Seven sister's water fall and Singhik view point. Later after lunch on route, we will continue our drive to Lachung. On arrival, check in at the hotel in Lachung and enjoy dinner followed by an overnight stay.
After Breakfast in the morning, we will drive to Shiv Mandir, a short drive of max 2 hours via Yumthang. Overnight stay in base camp at Shiv Mandir.
Today we will go to explore Brumkhangse Valley. After breakfast in the morning, we will start our journey and try to reach some good height so that we can acclimatize well. Later in the afternoon, we will descend back to the base camp.
The day is called for a rest before going further on high altitude. We will be dividing all necessary items for further route and leave unnecessary items in the base camp. We will also recheck our equipments. Overnight stay in tents.
Real Treks start from today when we will trek from the base camp to advance base camp.. There is very less trail so one has to walk through steep shrubby and rock terrain. We will put our camp closer to the water source. Overnight stay in tents.
The extra day will be reserved for Summit in case of bad weather or any other bad condition.
Today, we will start climbing towards Brumkhangse Glacier. The initial 200Mts are quite steep and crevassed. By keeping to the right side as much as possible, you will emerge on the upper glacier and gentler terrain. Keeping hard right on the glacier under a rock ridge you will find safe and easy passage to Camp 1. This spot provides a safe, open camping area, with running water on nearby rocks. Take pleasure of an overnight stay at Camp 1.
Today early in the morning, we will attempt for the Summit. Our route starts again from the right side of the glacier, until we reached a prominent col at c.5330m. On the left of the col is our Summit, which we called Brumkhangshe South (c5635m). The climbing is straightforward on steep snow slopes till Summit. After Summit takes pictures, enjoy panoramic views and later descend to camp 1. Enjoy an overnight stay at Camp 1.
The extra day will be reserved for Summit in case of bad weather or any other bad condition.
In the morning after breakfast, we will pack our things and descend directly to base camp by passing advance base camp. It will be much easier walking down after staying at high altitude. An overnight At Base Camp.
The day will be an easier one for you after treks and climbing in high altitude. In the morning after breakfast, we will pack our bags and drive down to Gangtok Via Lachung. Enjoy a night stay at the hotel in Gangtok.
Drive to Darjeeling -the British developed hill resort , producer of world famous tea. (115 km / 04 hrs).Evening free to explore the town. Overnight hotel.
Early morning tour to Tiger Hill (at around 4 am) to view sunrise over mighty Kanchenjunga. The view is splendid on clear weather day. On the way back, take a look at Ghoom Monastery and the Batasia Loop. Afternoon visit to Himalayan Zoological Park (Closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Gumbu Rock site and Tibetan Refugee self-help (Closed on Sunday) Center Tea Estate. Overnight hotel.
Darjeeling to Bagdogra or Bhadrapur Airport (6-7 hrs)
In the morning after breakfast drive to Bagdogra and from here take a flight for onward destination. Trip and Services Ends Here

    Expedition members: Rs. 3 lakhs per member
    Camp crew: Rs. 1 lakh per person
    Porters: Rs. 50,000/- per person
    Animals: Rs. 20,000/- per animal
Please note:

It’s necessary and advisable to book the peaks well in advance to complete all the official formalities. Generally, we obtain the permit in one week. Rescue operations during emergencies and accidents are looked after by the liaison officer, who will coordinate with us and government machinery.
